SD&G Community Futures Development Corporation Welcomes A New Communications Officer

(January 6, 2010) The SD&G Community Futures Development Corporation (SD&G CFDC) is pleased to welcome Dan Allaire as their new Communications Officer.

Allaire, a Cornwall native, has several years communications experience having most recently served as Communications Specialist for the Raisin-South Nation Source Protection Region. Prior to that, he also spent over seven years in the newsroom at Corus Entertainment in Cornwall.

His role will be to raise the profile of the SD&G CFDC’s programs and services to help develop and diversify the SD&G region.

Allaire says “I want anyone thinking of starting a new business, expanding a current one or even just looking for some professional business advice, to think of the SD&G CFDC as a great starting point for information.”

Some of the programs and service offered include the Eastern Ontario Development Program, business loans, business development assistance and counseling; access to venture capital; promotion of the region and its businesses as well as innovative programs and partnerships,
