Cornwall Verbatim Reporting Services Gets a Hand From EODP
Cornwall Verbatim Reporting Services, a new local business at 340 Second Street East, owned and managed by Elaine Paquette has opened in the seaway city.
In her position as court reporter for the provincial courts in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Paquette became aware of the need to provide reporting services for legal professionals in the community and surrounding district and has set up this business to fill the void.
Funding through the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) to help with promotion costs has helped Cornwall Verbatim Reporting Services raise its profile as a new business in the area.
Paquette and her staff are looking forward to providing recording services with advanced digital technology, both in their conference room and on location when required. In addition to recording discoveries and legal proceedings, Cornwall Verbatim Reporting Services’ staff will also produce transcripts in an efficient and expedient manner.
The Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) is a $10-million Government of Canada initiative which promotes socio-economic development in rural Eastern Ontario, encourages a competitive and diversified regional economy, and contributes to the successful development of business and job opportunities and sustainable, self-reliant communities.
They provide flexible office hours and messages may be left at any time by dialing (613) 360-1866.
