The S.D. & G Community Futures Development Corporation extends economic development related services to the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

Typically, these services have centered around the following functions:

• Facilitating the growth, expansion, or restructuring of businesses within the SD&G region.
• Assisting businesses in establishing or locating within the SD&G region.
• Providing economic development services, advisory services, and consultative expertise.
• Assistance with accessing various development programs and incentives.
• Acting as government / industry liaison.
• Investment attraction.
• Providing direct investment into projects through our Community Ventures Capital Fund.
• Actively promoting the region, and its capabilities, to national and international decision makers.

Location
With the City of Cornwall at the heart of the region, the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry has become known as a vibrant commercial, industrial and agricultural area, or in other words, The Eastern Gateway to Ontario. Home to over 114,000 people, the United Counties lies between three of the most influential urban centres in North America, and accordingly is well serviced by the transportation, telecommunication and service networks. Still, the natural beauty of the region has been well preserved, leading to unique agricultural development opportunities and a quality of life that is second to none.
